Make, decorate & create your own one-of-a-kind ceramic charcuterie board!
Service Description
Spend three relaxed and creative hours making your own ceramic charcuterie pieces. You’ll shape your clay using simple hand-building techniques, then decorate your pieces with coloured slip to add your own patterns, colours and personal touch. You can make up to two pieces to take home, with each piece being approximately the size of an iPad. The Session 3 hours of making + slip decoration You’ll be guided through the process from start to finish, with plenty of time to experiment and get creative. £40 per person — all materials and firing included. 🎄 Christmas collection notice: Any pieces created on 20 December will not be ready for collection before Christmas. Please note that the 4-week turnaround time does not include our studio Christmas closure, so these pieces will be ready to collect in the New Year. 🍷 BYOB — Bring your own drinks and snacks and enjoy a relaxed, creative session with us. Please wear old clothing and have trimmed nails, as you’ll be getting stuck into the clay! Please note Clay is a natural material and every piece is unique. Results may vary due to the nature of clay and the firing process. Glaze colours and textures may differ from examples, and pieces will shrink by approximately 15% during firing. Small imperfections may occur, and in rare cases pieces may crack or break during firing. We do our best to minimise these risks, but they are an inherent part of working with clay. The class is non-refundable, although we can reimburse you if your work is damaged or explodes during firing. Collection & delivery: Your finished piece can be collected once fired, or £15 delivery can be arranged and paid for at the end of the class. Cancellation Policy
Class Information & Important Notes * Clay, aprons and pottery tools are provided. * No previous experience is required. Our tutor will guide you throughout the class. * Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign in and prepare for the demonstration. * Please check your booking confirmation carefully for the correct date, time and studio. * Arriving 30+ minutes late may result in refused entry, with no refund or rescheduling. * Please keep fingernails short and wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting clay on. We recommend avoiding jewellery and valuables. * Bring water in warmer weather and an extra layer in colder months. Your Pottery If you would like to keep your pieces, a £5 materials and firing fee per piece is payable on the day by cash or bank transfer. Pieces are usually ready 4–5 weeks after the class. We’ll email you when they’re ready, so please check your spam folder if needed. Due to limited storage, pieces must be collected within one month of the collection email. Uncollected pieces may be disposed of. Delivery is available for £15, payable at the end of the class. Please Note Clay and firing can produce unexpected results. Glazes and textures may vary, pieces will shrink by approximately 15%, and small lumps or imperfections may occur. Pieces may also crack or break during firing. We always do our best to minimise these issues, but they are part of the ceramic process. Classes are non-refundable; however, if your piece explodes during firing, we will reimburse the applicable materials and firing fee. Taster Classes The £5 fee per piece only applies if you would like to keep your pieces. Age Requirement Participants must be 11+. Ages 11–17 are welcome if they can work independently in an adult-paced class. Please check our FAQ before booking for anyone under 18. Cancellation Policy All bookings are final. Cancellation requests must be made in writing by email. Refunds or rescheduling may be considered at our discretion for cancellations made 7+ days before the session.
