Service Description
This is a 2 day (30 minutes set up + 3h per day throwing) pottery Intermediate course suitable for anyone who has some experience on the wheel and wants to throw bigger! The course will grow your confidence in creating larger pieces with porcelain. This workshop is ideal for students with previous clay experience, a great opportunity to develop your skills and confidence in transforming porcelain into a decorative or functional vase, bowl or plate. - Learn to center with any amount of porcelain. - Identify and correct any bad habits. - Master throwing the perfect cylinder. - Understand techniques for different shapes. - Understanding porcelain and it’s relation with heat and water.
Cancellation Policy
Reminders: - Clay, aprons and tools will be provided during the class. - Fingernails should be kept short for health and safety reasons. - Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a bit of clay on. - Please do not wear any accessories or leave them around the studio if possible. - Please come 10 minutes prior to the start of the class, as this will allow you to sign in and get ready for class demonstration. - It is your responsibility to arrive on time for the class. Upon arriving to your class 30 minutes or later, we have the right to reject you joining the class without any refund or rescheduling. -Please check your confirmation to ensure you arrive at the correct studio to the correct class. Cancellations must be made in writing by email or text. You may cancel your course within 7 days of purchase with a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days of the class, course, or workshop will not be refunded. If your class, course, or workshop starts sooner than that, please get in touch as soon as possible (nam@cernamic.com). Exchanges can be made within 7 days at our discretion. Of course, there are emergencies and unforeseen circumstances that will impact your attendance so our team will work with you to negotiate or rearrange the date.
