Whether you’re a beginner or experienced with clay, this course is perfect for anyone interested in developing pottery skills for sex positive creations. This class is a mix of closely guided tutoring and self directed development so you can adapt the Gashtrays techniques to build whatever your freaky hearts desire. Enjoy a weekly Wednesday sculpt and chin wag sesh at the Cernamic pottery studio in Stoke Newington. -We'll be using stoneware clays and glazes! -BYOBAS (bring your own beverages and snacks 💕) -Just 12 spots available. -This February course is the perfect activity to keep them fingers busy as we start the new year. Dates: Wednesdays. February 26th, March 5th, 12th, 19th. Time: 19:00-21:00 (+ 20 minute clean up) Pricing For the lower income babes there are 5 slots available at concession price. If you are able, please take the general admission slots and leave the concession slots for those that really need it. Much love xox Course Structure Week 1 + 2 - Handbuilding. From slab building, to coil pots, to press moulds, learn all the techniques Gashtrays uses to sculpt your very own cups, plates, bowls, planters and more! Week 3 + 4 - Underglazing and dip glazing. Learn the painting decorating techniques used to spice up your creations. You’ll be using all the materials necessary for making functional, dishwasher safe, stoneware pottery. Cancellation policy As this is a limited course, unfortunately we cannot offer refunds after purchase. Things to know -Clay, aprons and tools will be provided during the class. -The studio applies a £5 per piece model for each finished item that you fire - this includes the costs of clay, glaze and firing. -Fingernails should be kept short for health and safety reasons. -Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a bit of clay on. -Please do not wear any accessories or leave them around the studio if possible. -Please come 10 minutes prior to the start of the class, as this will allow you to sign in and get ready for class demonstration. -It is our responsibility to leave Nam’s beautiful studio clean and tidy. Please allow 15 or so minutes after 9pm to tidy up together.
