Service Description
We offer drop in access to the studio for those who have a bit of experience under their belts with pottery, a good indicator of which would be if you have been on a beginners course either with us or at another studio, or have been making ceramics for more than a month or two. When a session is booked you can drop in anytime between 2-7pm, i.e. you do not have to spend 5 hours in the studio. The 2-7pm time slot is just the window you are able to use as a drop in. There is no minimum time limit for a drop in. The first session you do with us will include a 10 minute induction at the start, which will cost £3 extra on top of the £10 per hour you use to book the session. The £10 deposit paid will cover the first hour of your drop in, excluding the £3 induction fee the first time you come in. After the first hour drop in sessions cost £10 per hour, not including the price of the clay, which you will have to weight and pay for before you start working. Buff clay costs around £2.50/kg and we have different types of clay on offer too that are sold per bag. If you are storing your work to turn at a later date please write your name, the date, and drop in on a slip of paper and attach it to your work. Please understand that due to lack of space we can only keep work for 10 days after its creation, so please come within this window to turn and finish your work. Drop ins are allowed to use all of your house dipping glazes however not the underglazes or brush ons. Firing comes with the price of the clay. If you are bringing clay from oustide the studio the cost of firing for both bisque and glazing is £4 per kg. If you have any questions please email them to nam@cernamic.com

Cancelation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing by email or text. You may cancel your course within 7 days of purchase with a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days of the class, course, or workshop will not be refunded. If your class, course, or workshop starts sooner than that, please get in touch as soon as possible (nam@cernamic.com). Exchanges can be made within 7 days at our discretion. Of course, there are emergencies and unforeseen circumstances that will impact your attendance so our team will work with you to negotiate or rearrange the date.
