The Cernamic Studio reserves the right to change the content, timing, date, venue or instructor of the course in order to provide a high quality service or where it is necessary for reasons beyond our control.
The Studio reserves the right to cancel a course up to and including the date of the course if insufficient bookings have been received and will strive to give as much notice of this as possible.
Individuals booked onto a cancelled course will be given the option of a full refund or of rescheduling to a future course date. The Studio will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from amendments to the course or cancellations.
It is to the discretion of the tutor to not accept a late arrival to a course if it is potentially detrimental to fellow students. This will be treated as a late cancellation.
If you do miss a lesson then we can rearrange a catch up session by joining another workshop group who are doing the same course or will have to wait for the next new course to start and joing the missed lesson.
Course materials are supplied only for your personal use. The Studio remains the owner of all intellectual property in course materials. No part of the materials may be copied or reproduced without our permission.
The Studio takes a diligent approach to health and safety for the sake of all staff and users. Students are agreeing to read and abide by the guidelines of our Health & Safety policy. Repeated failure to do so will result in immediate termination of course without refund.
- Technical issues and breakages
Experienced and trained staff only will handle and fire your ceramic work. However, by the nature of ceramics there is always a risk of technical failure for which we cannot be held responsible.
Ceramics is an expensive process and we try hard to keep the costs down. We price the classes based on an estimated output. Occasionally we will get someone who is a prolific maker. We do not want to cap peoples creativity so we will ask you to pay a cost price for any work you chose to fire over the set amount laid out by your tutor for your particular course or session.
Any personal information you give to us will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will use the information to process your booking, to provide the course and to inform you about similar courses which we provide, unless you tell us that you do not want to receive this information. Any personal data you provide may be held on computer files.
- Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be settled by the English courts.
Completion of the booking process and acceptance of our terms and conditions forms your contract with Cernamic.
